Kristy Nunn

Kristy Nunn is a Director of the firm and is the leader of our Disputes, Claims, Litigation Law group. She has been with Mullane Lindsay since 2004.

Kristy Nunn is a Director of the firm and leads our disputes, claims and litigation group. She has been with Mullane Lindsay since 2004 and has represented clients in the Supreme Court of NSW across a wide range of matters, with particular expertise in professional negligence claims, insurance disputes, estate disputes and family provision claims. She acts for insurers, corporations, professionals and individuals.

Kristy brings two decades of experience acting for the professional indemnity insurer of lawyers, which gives her valuable insight into how to approach and manage the legal process. She has an excellent track record of resolving disputes by negotiation or mediation, and is a skilled litigator in the Supreme Court, District Court and Court of Appeal when a matter cannot be settled.

  • Reeves v Reeves [2024] NSWSC: successful estoppel claim in a farming dispute with indemnity costs.
  • Toth v Stewart Law Pty Ltd [2022] NSWCA 85: successful summary dismissal of a contract and duty of care claim.
  • McDonagh v Huxley (No. 4) [2021] NSWSC 987: defended a claim for unconscionable conduct and breach of the Corporations Act.
