David Collins

David Collins is Special Counsel in our disputes, litigation and resolution team. He has over two decades of litigation experience, having practised since 1999 in Bristol in the United Kingdom and in NSW since 2007, and has dealt with more than 2,000 disputes across commercial disputes, professional negligence, property and equity, insurance law, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.

A qualified mediator trained in conflict management coaching, David takes a practical, collaborative approach to negotiation, and has an excellent record in court and at tribunal when settlement is not possible. Before joining the firm in 2017, he was National Claims Manager at a specialist insurer, overseeing claims handling across Australia.
